  Upon arriving at this hostel, myself and my partner were abruptly told to "wait downstairs, 2 at a time." We were called up after 10 minutes and told to fill out a form, for which a pen was not provided and after asking for one we were told "it's not my problem," by the male volunteer. I thought this was strange and ultimately set the negative scene for things to come. Whilst checking in, a fellow Pilgrim made a sweeping comment about the heat of the building and was told "if you don't like it you can go somewhere else." So he left after complaining about the rude nature of the staff and found somewhere else to stay. Everything went reasonably well from that point until we awoke in the morning. We had been walking for 6 days and so decided to take this as our rest day. We were told that we had to leave our rooms by 7am and leave the hostel by 8am. At 6.40 am I explained our plan to rest to the staff to which they said they were very busy and we had to get a move on and "get outside." So we quickly cleaned our room and packed up and were outside before 7am! 2 other fellow pilgrims were planning a rest day also and were sat outside when we left. After meeting them in Los Arcos for a coffee 15 minutes later, they explained how they had been told "you are not proper pilgrims and you have to leave now, we decide who stays and goes." What a disgusting way to treat peaceful, harmless, paying guests who were sticking to the "rules" for the entirety of their stay. The establishment is actually rather pleasant and had it not been for the obscenely rude and obnoxious staff, all pilgrims would have enjoyed their stay; we are positive of this. Save yourself the stress and stay elsewhere. Utterly disgraceful...

  Fairly nice place with very kind and caring hosts. The facilities are quite basic, but we found it to be quite clean and comfortable. We ended up staying here for 2 nights because of my friend's foot injury, which the hosts kindly welcomed. There's also a very kind man that comes in the afternoons to give foot massages to pilgrims who was able to also diagnose my friend's foot issue and gave her advice on how to treat it! Definitely beat going to the doctor in town! (Don't recommend that.... but that's another whole review...)

  A little particular with their rules, but very kind and welcoming volunteer hosts. Nice patio area, decent kitchen, beer vending machine, and excellent showers. Two sets of dorms, one broken into smaller rooms and the second is one large room.

  It's a good albergue, i'f you register there is a person that gives great massage's.

  Rather basic but a plus is the massage service they have for us pilgrims :-)
